Fracking

So a post ago I talked about Marcellus Shale, which hits a little close to home because drilling for Marcellus Shale is being undertaken in Pennsylvania. Today I want to bring up the topic of this drilling, called fracking, and why fracking is "fracked up". I am adding two videos that illustrate the issues with the process of fracking. When companies use fracking, they drill beneath the shale layer and cause mini earthquakes to break the natural gas free from the shale. The videos show some of the damage caused by fracking.
